Joseph Sagbohan (Université d’Abomey- Calavi, Bénin)

Joseph Sagbohan is a scientific information specialist at the university of Abomey-Calavi, in Benin.

Head of the library and audiovisual department at the Polytechnic School of Abomey-Calavi, he is in charge of training learners in scientific information management. He holds a professional Master's degree in information system engineering, obtained in 2008 at the EBAD of the Cheikh Anta Diop university in Dakar, Senegal, after a Master's degree obtained in 2005 at the Limoges  university in France in the specialty of ICT project management and development.

Yao Jacques Dossa (Université d’Abomey-Calavi, Bénin)

Yao Jacques Dossa is a doctoral student in public law at the university of Abomey-Calavi. A graduate of the UNESCO Chair in Human Rights and Democracy, he is a specialist in the right of access to public information in Benin. Passionate about scientific research, Yao Jacques Dossa is currently doing his doctoral research on innovative forms of cooperation for development. He also holds a master's degree in applied English linguistics. A highly motivated junior researcher, he is currently combining his research with his jobs as a security guard and maintenance agent at Zodiak Service and the Benin Security Company.

Kisito Gandji is a Research and Policy Officer at ACED. He is responsible for carrying out research activities and those related to the production and use of evidence by policy makers and practitioners. He is also a researcher at the University of Abomey-Calavi in Benin and the Joseph Ki-Zerbo University in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.

Alphée Yannick Hilaire NGALLI NGOMO II holds a Ph.D in Information and Communication Sciences.  He is an associate professor at the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences et Techniques de l'Information et de la Communication (ESSTIC) of the University of Yaoundé II and Information Manager at the Bank of Central African States.

Minata Traore (Université Nazi Boni Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso)

information Engineer, Mrs. Minata TRAORE is holder of the following diplomas: Master's degree in Documentary Engineering - Master's degree in Library Science and Bibliography - University degree in Multimedia Communicator - Postgraduate degree in Francophonie, New Economy and Sustainable Development. Currently enrolled in a PhD program, she is the Director of the Central Library of the Nazi BONI University in Burkina Faso and Coordinator of the Science Boutique of this University. She is a member of the User Group of the Research4Life Program. She teaches in public and private universities in Burkina Faso as well as in other higher education and research institutions. She teaches courses in Online Documentary Research for students, teachers and researchers. She is the Representative of the PERI Program of INASP in Burkina Faso to encourage young researchers to publish in scientific journals with Impact Factor.

Gilbert Willy Tio Babena (Université de Maroua, Cameroun)

Teacher-researcher at the University of Maroua, Gilbert Willy TIO BABENA is the secretary general of the Grenier des savoirs since its creation on October 22, 2019. He coordinates the activity of the scientific journals of this platform and supports those who wish to professionalize without necessarily being part of it. With the Grenier des savoirs, he leads workshops on the professionalization of scientific journals, open science, plagiarism and the art of citation. He is also a member of the Association Science Bien Commun and director of the collection Langues, linguistique et analyse du discours at Éditions science et bien commun. He recently created La brocante des savoirs, a podcast that focuses on the diversity of knowledge.

 Flore-Apolline Roy (Cirad, France)

Geographer, her personal aspirations led her to direct her studies towards the
geography of health, particularly in West African countries. Since her entry into the world of scientific research three years ago, she has been able to use her skills and knowledge to gain experience in health geography, geomatics, statistics, database management, spatial analysis and remote sensing. This was achieved through various university internships and a Volontariat International en Administration (V.I.A) in Dakar. For the past year, she has been working on the OpenOPSE project, which aims to inventory, make visible, useful and accessible the data and results of past research conducted in a network of multidisciplinary observatories in Senegal. It also aims to foster data management practices in line with the requirements of open science for future research.

Ouahid Elasri (Université d'Agadir, Maroc)

Dr. El Asri Ouahid is a research professor at the Faculty of Sciences of the University Ibn Zohr in Agadir, Morocco. He obtained his PhD in waste treatment biotechnology. After several missions in Belgium, France, Italy, Chad, he has collected a large experience in the management, treatment and valorisation of bioresources. Thanks to his enthusiasm for research and innovation, he is the author of about 40 research articles, several book chapters and policy papers. He is also a reviewer in several international journals. He has been awarded several national and international research and innovation prizes. His love for popularising science has enabled him to qualify twice successively for the national final of the ma thèse en 180 Secondes competition and participation in the Africa Science Week. He is also an expert in green entrepreneurship, sustainable development and innovation processes. Thus he is recommended as an advisor in several companies and investment programmes. Currently, he is interested in building a strong bridge between the university and the socio-economic environment.

Sofiane Bouhdiba (Université de Tunis, Tunisie)

Sofiane Bouhdiba is Professor of Demography at the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of Tunis. He has taught in many universities in Europe, Africa and the United States, and has participated in a large number of international conferences on various topics related to the study of populations.

Professor Sofiane Bouhdiba is also an international consultant to the United Nations, and has written about twenty books and sixty scientific articles published in French and English in high-level international journals.

Professor Sofiane Bouhdiba is a member of many international scientific societies, such as the Association Internationale des Démographes de Langue Française (AIDELF), the American Institute of Maghrebian Studies (AIMS), the African Studies Centre Community (ASC), the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA), the Population Association of America (PAA), the Arab Council for the Social Sciences (ACSS), the Union of African Population Studies (UEPA), the International Union for the Scientific Study of Population (IUSSP) and the African Studies Association (ASA).

Amsatou Touré (Cirad, Burkina Faso)

Amsatou TOURE, scientific information specialist at CIRAD Burkina Faso. Seconded to the joint research information center CICRD where she is in charge of training in bibliographic search. Holder of a diploma in computer science from ESI (Rabat) and a master's degree in information from EBAD (Dakar). Member of the Réseau pour la mutualisation de l’information scientifique et technique in Burkina Faso (Remist) which works to promote open science in Burkina Faso. Very interested in information technologies and currently interested in open science tools.

Fatoumata Maiga (UJKZ, Burkina Faso)

President of the Réseau pour la mutualisation de l'information scientifique et technique (ReMIST), an association of  information specialsits in Burkina Faso who work to facilitate access to scientific and technical information, to improve the dissemination of information and to strengthen the capacities of network members. I am an information engineer. Director of the Central University Library (BUC) of the Joseph KI-ZERBO University (UJKZ), having the technical supervision of the information and library services of the training and research units of the UJKZ institutes, I am in charge of the implementation of the library policy. I also intervene in the training of information specialists at the Norbert ZONGO University (UNZ), at the National School of Administration and Magistracy (ENAM) and at the Institut Supérieur des Techniques documentaires (ISTID).

Abdoulaye Ba (ANDS, Sénégal)

Abdoulaye Bâ is a computer engineer at the ANSD (Agence nationale de la statistique et de la démographie). He graduated in Business Intelligence from UCAD-Dakar, Senegal (2014). After working for 6 years in the administration and security of computer networks, since 2012, he has been working in the management of Data and IT solutions at ANSD. Within his field of intervention, he has had to act specifically in the documentation of surveys and in the application of anonymisation techniques in order to guarantee the sharing of microdata and their proper use by researchers.
He administers the national data archiving platform which is the survey data warehouse of the Senegalese Statistical System.
From 2021, it will participate in the Open OPSE project.

Andrianjaka Hasina Raonison (Bibliothèque nationale de Madagascar)

Passionate about books and the transmission of knowledge, Andrianjaka Raonison has held various positions in the field of books, reading and education in Madagascar. In 2019, he joined the Ministry of Communication and Culture as Director of Libraries dealing mainly with the National Library. He was the initiator of the establishment of the National Library of Madagascar as a public institution, an organization attached to the Ministry in charge of Culture and adopted by the Council of Ministers in March 2020. He has held the position of Director General of the National Library of Madagascar since the establishment of the institution until today. The main mission of the National Library of Madagascar is to preserve, promote and disseminate the national documentary heritage, to develop and implement the public reading policy, and to coordinate and develop the book chain in Madagascar.

Jean-François Moussa (GBIF Cameroun)

Jean-François MOUSSA is the manager of the Cameroonian node of the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF). Computer scientist, he has participated since 2010 in the deployment of several databases related to the implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity in Cameroon. As manager of the GBIF node, he participates in capacity building of teachers and researchers from universities and research institutes on the use of tools and standards for publication of GBIF. He is currently working on the establishment of a national network for sharing open biodiversity data among researchers. Administratively, he is the Head of the Publications and Reprography Department at the Centre d'Information et de Documentation sur l'Environnement (CIDE), a department of the Ministry of Environment, Nature Protection and Sustainable Development.

Edouard Ngor Sarr (UASZ, Sénégal)

Edouard Ngor SARR is a teacher-researcher in computer science at the University Assane SECK of Ziguinchor (UASZ) in Senegal. He also worked as a teacher-researcher and head of the ICT-IS laboratory at the Catholic University of West Africa (CERIDES-UCAO) from 2014 to 2019. He is also a member of the CHECK4DECISION research project ( https://check4decision.univ-thies.sn/  ) based at the University of Thies and funded by CEAMITIC. This project, which is an extension of his doctoral thesis, deals with issues related to the automation of data collection and aggregation from the web as well as automatic fact-checking in the context of web journalism. The interest lies not only in its innovative scientific positioning, but also and above all in the fact that it integrates a societal approach to the issue of information management.
