Personal data processing

You are going to fill in a form to submit a proposal or to register. Your action is voluntary. The information collected in these forms is processed as described below :

Management of personal information

The information collected about you (mandatory information: Name, First name, Email, Affiliation) will be processed under the responsibility of the IRD in Montpellier.

Personal data are collected and processed for the following purposes :

• the management of submissions and registrations to the Open Science in the South 2022 symposium
• dissemination of information related to the organization of the symposium
• the elaboration of anonymous statistics to characterize the participation in the 2022 symposium (number of participants and distribution by country).

The legal basis for the processing is the legitimate interests pursued by the data controllers for the organization of the Open Science in the South 2022 conference.

Recipients of the data

• According to their respective needs for the organization of the symposium, are recipients of all or part of the data, the administrators of the site sciencesconf "Colloque Science ouverte au Sud 2022" as well as the members of the organizing committee and the scientific committee under the responsibility of the IRD.

Duration of conservation of your data

These data are only stored for the time necessary to manage the symposium. Beyond that, they will be deleted at the latest 6 months after the end of the conference.

Rights of the persons

In application of the european General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to obtain the communication and rectification of data concerning you. In addition, you have the right to oppose and limit the processing of your data, as well as to request their deletion. To exercise these rights, an e-mail can be sent to dpd@ird.fr.
